“If only they were wise and they understood this; If only they would discern their future! How could one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Unless their Rock had sold them, And the Lord had given them up?” Deuteronomy 32:29-31
Bible math. 1=1000, 2=10,000. NOT 1=1000 and 2=2000. So 1000 + 1000 = 10,000.
So where did the other 8,000 come from? GOD. He’s showing us the power of partnerships. There is a blessing that multiplies your efforts when you come together and collaborate with others.
That’s why we should reject teaching that makes us suspicious of one another, want to leave one another behind, talk about one another and label one another. Are there bad people in the world? Of course there are. That’s why the scripture above says to “discern your future”. Discern who those people are and keep moving. Don’t pitch a tent there and moan and groan.
When we really come to understand the supernatural power of God that exists in unity and partnerships, then we will know why the enemy fights us so much at every turn to be in opposition with one another. We will also recognize the boost that we get that elevates our endeavors to levels that we could only hope for.
This principle is true in marriage, in business, in friendships – just across the board. Find COMMON ground with one another!
