Discovering the Divine: My Personal Journey to Engaging with the Bible

When I study the bible, I approach it as if I know nothing.

I abandon everything I know, everything I think I know, everything others have taught me, and I come as a blank slate. Why?

Because access to kingdom principles are only given to children.

Not to bible scholars. Not to Intellectuals. Not to the Educated, Not to those who are proficient in Hebrew and Greek.

“and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3

So, I humble myself. When you think about coming in the presence of a great and almighty God, you realize that you really don’t know anything anyway.

So with my heart, mind and imagination open to learn something new, curious and eager to put this new info into practice in my own life so I can be transformed, I open the book and begin to read.

My teacher, the Holy Spirit is here and the lessons begin. Access granted.
